BCA Custom Corner #2 - Hart Foundation vs. Demolition

For the second installment of BCA Custom Corner, I've decided to focus on these custom classic tag team figures that I found on eBay several months ago.

Having just looked over the photo again, I wish I had bid on these when I had the chance.

The paint jobs look exquisite (big word!) and I would be hard-pressed to locate any flaws on these figures.

You might say that the Kurrgan head needs more modifying to closely resemble Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, or that the Vader torso doesn't quite do the man justice, but I think it looks great either way.

I love the Slammers (or at least that's which version the arms look like to me) Bret Hart repaint, too, as the silver shades remind me of Bret's red card series 8 Hasbro figure.

I couldn't forget Demolition, as I'm left here wondering whether the Smash and Ax heads (respectively) are the real thing (a.k.a. Jakks Real Scan CS heads) or the work of an expert BCA head customizer.

I would side with the former of the two (and, no, I don't mean a Smash preference), but that might just be for the best.

Imagine if Jakks had attempted a regular BCA Legends line, now come back to reality and witness these sets of customs that someone actually made. Impressive, to say the least.

Remember, e-mail me at tmac152303@yahoo.com if you would like your BCA customs from yesteryear to be shown in a future edition of BCA Custom Corner!
